Every year millions of Americans start and stop diets. We buy new equipment, join fitness clubs, hire
trainers, take pills, etc., only to quit weeks later. Everyone is looking for an easy way out, but soon find out "if it sounds too
good to be true its not."
The transformation from being an inactive person to an active person is virtually impossible
without serious mental adjustments. Most diets fail to address this important issue.
Over 90% of weight loss is mental. The problem
is most diets are physical, requiring you to eat less and exercise more. In theory , you will lose weight on most diets.
However, in reality 90% of dieters fail.
Knowing that weight loss is 90% thinking and 5%-10% doing makes things easier. For example:
if you just spend 5% of 24 hours on an activity, you will begin to lose weight. 5% of 24 hours = 12 minutes a day or 84 minutes a
week.
For some people it takes years, and others never learn the true secret of permanent weight loss. To solve a problem you must
go to the source and work your way forward. Before you begin to diet, you must visualize your dream body and pinpoint and analyze when
and why you started gaining weight.

What is the difference between a person who works out and is in shape and a person who does
not? Everyone wants a good looking body so why are some willing to work hard for it while others don't?
The difference is mental!
A mentally thin person thinks thin, therefore overtime becomes what he or she thinks. Thinking thin is keeping the vision of your
dream body on your mind continually, regardless of your weight, habbits and circumstances. This process is the hardest challenge to
permanent weight loss.
A human being is a thinking center capable of producing and organizing thoughts. Your thoughts
causes the formation of what you think about. Thought is the only power which can produce results. Before you can
do something you have to think that thought. To do things the way you want to do them is a direct result in being able to think the
way you want to think. Think Thin! You can be what you want to be.
I have a friend named Janet who has been obese
most of her life. In school she was teased about her weight. After high school I did not see Janet for ten years. One day while
shopping at the mall a beautiful thin woman came up to me and said " hello, remember me" I did'nt. "This is Janet"
All I could say was whow! I asked her how did she do it. She said "I finally made up my mind to lose the weight. People used
to stare, point and call me names. I recall going home crying many days after school. I became depressed ate more and gained
even more weight. I eventually blocked everything out and started pretending to be thin. I used to look at other girl
shapes and pretend it was mine, until one day after many years I decided to be what I pretended to be. Once I made my
mind up, it was no turning back. Now people stare and point because I'm sexy."
Weight loss is 90% thinking and 10%
doing. Janet is now mentally thin. She works out often, eats good and has not gained any weight in five years. Fitness is
always on her mind. She says she will never be obese again. Like Janet many others have discovered the true mentallity of permanent
weight loss. It all begins in the mind.
